The American Dental Association's "Give Kids a Smile" programs begin Friday February 6, 2008. For the seventh consecutive year this nation wide event will unite dental professionals with children from low income families, to provide free "oral health care services." The ADA estimates, in a press release, that "more than 12,000 dentists and 32,000 dental team volunteers will provide free dental services to approximately half a million children in need at more than 1,600 locations nationwide."

Talk to the dentists and dental professionals at these events and they will tell you what an honour it is to participate in such a noteworthy cause. Along with the free dental care you can expect valuable advice, tips, and instruction for both you and your child, on ways to improve and maintain your child’s oral health and make brushing and flossing part of your daily routine.

There has never been a more appropriate time to take advantage of such a wonderful, no-cost service. Locate a participating office in your community for more information.
