According to UroToday, advanced gum disease may be connected to a man's worst nightmare: Erectile Dysfunction (ED).
Extensive research is planned since the preliminary findings involve a relatively small group of subjects. At this point, however, the studies authors believe periodontal bacteria that has been associated with coronary heart disease may also be responsible for ED; as there is a known connection between coronary heart disease and erectile dysfunction.
Studies such as this continue to reaffirm the impact gum disease poses on your quality of life. Achieving and maintaining healthy teeth and gums just might be what the doctor ordered. Have you been to see your dentist for a check up lately?

Shawn, perhaps this would be enough to encourage more men to visit the dentist regularly.
Men are such cavemen when it comes to healthcare. That and stopping to ask directions seem to be glaring weak spots.
Fortunately their better halves will drag these cavemen in to see a dentists and doctors so they don’t end up looking like pirates – eye patch, bad teeth, hook for a hand and a peg leg.

Yeah friend i am agree with you. The other problem that Gum disease can lead to bad breath, ultimately leading to cavities, root decay and perpetual head aches, these are just few of those which are directly related to gum disease, as i understand it can even start stomach problems, indigestion and acid reflux in severe cases.
Shawn, being primitive in nature, men respond to direct stimulation of pain or pleasure. That’s when they finally move into action.
Women, start your cattle prods!
