There are a number of ways for you to celebrate Earth Day 2010, but have you thought about how you impact the earth when you're caring for your teeth and gums?
Chew on this: The average American wastes 2 gallons of water a day, just brushing their teeth! Over the course of a year, one person is wasting 730 gallons of water. With an estimated 300+ million citizens in the United States, the amount of clean water that is wasted every year is astronomical. Now think about the millions of people that go everyday of their lives without even an ounce of clean water to drink, let alone brush their teeth with. I think it's time for you to turn off that tap...

Turn off the tap, boys. There goes 1460 gallons of water...

I hate to say it but I brush my teeth with the water running while people are dying of thirst. It’s hard to hear your conscience when it’s muffled by convenience.
well i wake up early in the morning to brush my teeth……….but the plaque seems to stay………..i dont know what to do…
You need to visit a dentist and avail of professional teeth cleaning and teeth whitening services.
It means you are looking for dental service who can make your teeth clean because your teeth needs cleaning and you said that you have some plaque problems too.
we have been trying to teach our younger patients to be conscious of their water usage while brushing. Ultimately the parents have to take the responsibility and lead by example.
Respect for precious resources should always be on our minds. That includes things such personal time and money as well as environmental.
Hope my children catch on soon.
