If you are planning a romantic evening for that "someone special" forget about the candles, flowers, and romantic music - all you need to to is to remember to brush and floss your teeth.
The Waterpik Sexy Smile Survey conducted by Kelton Research suggests that three in five Americans prefer clean teeth over traditional romantic overtures. Something I found to be slightly disturbing was that close to six in ten, or 59 percent of people surveyed, would be most disturbed by their partner not brushing or flossing his or her teeth for a week, as compared to only 24 percent who would be most perturbed if their significant other passed on wearing deodorant. The survey also revealed how most Americans feel about flossing. Here are some key points of interest that you may or may not be surprised to hear:
- Americans are most likely to floss just before visiting the dentist (51 percent), and when they have food stuck in between their teeth or have bad breath (64 percent), which could mean their mouths are not as fresh as they should be most other times!
- Nearly six in ten (58 percent) Americans say they deserve a C or lower for the efforts they make to floss their teeth on a daily basis. In fact, about one in five (18 percent) give themselves a failing grade.
- Among people who floss their teeth, close to six in ten (57 percent) say that floss makes their gums bleed, it gets stuck between their teeth, (52 percent), and it caused little bits of food to fly onto the mirror (42 percent).
So, if you are looking to bring your sexy back before a romantic fling, make sure you brush your teeth properly and don't forget to floss. And instead of spending your money on candles or any other attempt to set the mood, perhaps you should book an appointment for a professional cleaning before the "main event" -- just a thought...

Something that people should know is although flossing may be a timely process, it is a process that should be performed everyday in order to keep yourself healthy.
For the 57 percent of people who say that floss makes their gums bleed, or it gets stuck between their teeth, this may be a sign of gum disease or other infections. They should continue to floss regularly and see a dentist a soon as possible.
Really a very lovely girl with a red lips and a white teeth makes you look at her more curiously a bit. Also will be look sexier with those looks and then wink at you makes you panic lol.
The survey is really true, as for me you look more sexier if you have white teeth and healthy gums. Makes everyone look at you when you smile.
