Guide Review - Review of REACH ULTRACLEAN Floss

I will be the first to admit it: I hate flossing my teeth... Why do I dread this essential oral hygiene practice that I stress to you, the reader, every chance I get? Remember when you were a kid, and you would wind a string or elastic around your finger, to make it abnormally puffy and purple? That is an every day occurrence for me.
I have such a difficult time flossing between my molars, because the space between them is almost non-existent. In order to get the floss between my teeth, I need to stretch it really tight, and force it down, until it makes it through. If the floss doesn't break or shred during this process, consider it my (or my gums) lucky day. As I continue with my flossing, the extra floss that I'm winding around my middle fingers becomes tighter and tighter, because I am stretching it so hard; enter puffy purple fingers. I have searched for a dental floss that glides easily between my teeth, but at the same time remains strong and shred resistant. Will REACH ULTRACLEAN floss live up to it's promises?

Trying the REACH ULTRACLEAN floss for the first time was a pleasure. I was able to floss between all of my teeth effortlessly, without any snags or snaps. When I did try to break the floss (outside of my mouth, of course) it took a bit of an effort to do so, in fact I caused my "puffy purple finger syndrome" to occur.

I found the mint flavor to be quite pleasant, unlike most floss which taste waxy to me. Speaking of waxed floss, I really appreciated the fact that this floss did not leave any bits of wax stuck in between my teeth.

One of my biggest dental pet peeves is measuring out my floss, only to find I'm left with a piece of floss that is maybe long enough for a mouse to use. The REACH ULTRACLEAN floss comes nicely packaged in a semi-transparent compact that allows you to see the amount of floss that remains; genius!
