Late in life developent of cancer sores

I am over 50 and developed them when I quit smoking! Usually 2 or 3 at a time that are quite large and extremely painful. I find they come every few weeks. I have "magic mouthwash" with lidocane that works to erase the pain.

ALOT

At least one or two every month, and then when I get a cold, I get a lot. I have had as many as 8 at a time and they get in my throat!

Once a month usually

Usually around my period but I will get one if I bite the inside of my lip.
